After spending a little time in the site on this visit I soon realised that the site was nothing like what I had seen the last time I had been here. They talk on the tour of having thousands of images but if they are there now then I couldn't find them.
All I could find were a disappointingly small number of image galleries. The galleries were certainly neatly thumbnailed and there was navigation links between each big picture but there weren't many pictures in each gallery. Some I counted had less than ten images but the site still provided a slide show tool that allows members to automatically cycle through all the images in a gallery.
Then there were the size of the images. Now this is Hustler - it's a brand name in the porn business and you would expect to see images that were right up there with the industry leaders but that is not the way it was.
I came to Hustler after reviewing and English porn site where the still images were all over 1000 pixels on the longest side and I was expecting to see that here. I was sadly mistaken; the biggest image I could find in the regular galleries was between 400 and 500 pixels on the longest side.
The image quality was certainly there but then so was a file size that was definitely excessive when compared to the size of the image. While other sites really look after their members by providing lots of big pictures and even giving members the opportunity to download them as a zip file Hustler doesn't give members more than the bare necessities.
But then I thought that maybe the videos would improve my outlook. There certainly quite a few videos for members to see but these days the thumbnails for them all seem to fit on just one page and I can remember when there were a whole lot more.
Once nice touch from Hustler was to provide the videos in each of the three main formats so you can get these videos in Real, Quicktime and Windows Media. The videos are only available as full-length movies so you don't have to worry about grabbing short clips.
Members certainly can stream the movies direct from the site and that works reasonably well although there are delays due to buffering. But Hustler seems to encourage you to download the movies and save them to your hard drive. While that can take some time you it can be worth it because at the end you have the whole movie sitting on your hard drive to watch whenever you want to.
But that's not quite the whole picture because there is a little notice on the movie page that tells you that you have to be a current member to be able to access the movies. What that means is that as soon as you cease to be a member of Hustler you lose access to the videos that are sitting on your hard drive.
Members of Hustler also get access to 13 bonus sites and that looks like a great deal but once again there is a catch. New members get access to one bonus site and the longer you stay a member the more of those 13 bonus sites you get access to. It's fine if you do intend to stay a member for quite some time but if you don't then you can forget seeing most of those bonus sites.

Conclusion:

This is definitely not the Hustler site that I remember from a year or two ago. This site is a lot leaner and meaner that the earlier version and you will find far better sites to join than Hustler.
I find it rather sad to say that but that's the way it seems to me.
